7 On-The-Go Healthy Snacks for Toddlers
When I find myself having to get life done and still keep my babies from meltdowns, one thing I’ve learned is that it’s imperative to pack the perfect snacks.

Having a large family with 6 children, sometimes planning an outing to places like the grocery store without having a gaggle of children in tow is out of the question. When I find myself having to get life done and still keep my babies from meltdowns, one thing I’ve learned is that it’s imperative to pack the perfect snacks. Lately, I try to focus on finding healthier choices for snacks, that both my children and I enjoy on the go. I’ve compiled a list of our top 7 favorite healthy snacks to take along on an outing, or really to have any time.
1. Nature’s Bakery Wholewheat Fig Bar:
We started having these as a breakfast option when my older boys were still in public school, and we’ve been hooked ever since. These are a snack I love to carry in my diaper bag or purse. Nature’s Bakery Whole Wheat Fig Bars are soft-baked with NO cholesterol, GMOs or high fructose corn syrup. No Artificial Flavors, Certified Vegan, Plant Based, Kosher, Made in a Nut-Free Facility, Low Sodium, Soy Free, Dairy Free, and 0g Trans Fat
2. HighKey Low Carb Cookie (low car, gluten free, grain free, paleo & keto friendly):
My littles are always asking for cookies, these cookies are gluten and grain free with no added preservatives, no gluten, and no fillers. They are my new go-to choice when they want a sweet, crispy treat without all the unwanted sugar and carbs found in regular chocolate chip cookies. HighKey Snacks uses simple ingredients for a tasty alternative to traditional sweets.

3. That’s It Fruit Bars:
My son, Jaxson is obsessed with fruit snacks but I love this snack as an alternate to fruit snacks, made in an allergen-free facility, That’s It Fruit Chewy Bars are nut-free, fat-free, non-GMO soy-free, pesticide-free, gluten-free, low carb, diabetic friendly including Vegan, Paleo & Kosher.
4. HIPPEAS Organic Chickpea Puffs- Vegan White Cheddar
We are obsessed with these snacks from HIPPEAS. They are gluten-Free, Vegan, Kosher, Non-GMO, with No Peanuts, Tree Nuts, or Soy. Organic Chickpea Puffs are made from the humble, but mighty legume and baked into a light and crunchy puff. Did you know Chickpea plants naturally release nitrogen back into the earth as they grow? They’re good for the planet, simply by being themselves. That’s a snack that I’m happy to feed my littles. My sons love the vegan white cheddar flavor.

5. Bare, Baked Natural Fruit Chips:
These fruit chips are absolutely delicious, and I think I might like them even more than my littles. My favorite flavors are the apple in fuji & reds, and the cinnamon. Bare snacks are real fruit, coconuts, & veggies baked into deliciously crunchy chips. Snacks gone simple
6. GoGo SqueeZ Happy TummieZ Pouches with Prebiotic Fiber:
GoGo squeeZ happy tummieZ is a delicious blend designed to support gut health, which is extremely important to our family. They contain no added colors, flavors, preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. Most importantly my littles absolutely love them, and I like the taste of them too. These are perfect because they can be frozen and used as ice packs for little lunchbox or snack packs and then they thaw and can be eaten cold.
7. Nature’s Bakery Double Chocolate Brownie:
My family loves these brownies which are made from cocoa, dates, and whole grains. They have no cholesterol, GMOs or high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors, certified vegan, plant based, kosher, and made in a nut-free facility which is important to us since we have 2 in our house with nut allergies. They’re also really good.
